DarknessAs I awoke from my sleep I realized that I was trapped in complete darkness. Every where I looked was shrouded in complete darkness. I see a faint light coming from a crack in the wall. As I walked over to the light I realized that I was barefoot and every step I took felt like a thousand daggers were piercing the flesh of my feet. I had no clue why I felt such immense pain in my feet but I soon figured out that the floor was nothing but barbed wire. As I looked through the crack in the wall I saw a man, or what I thought was a man, reading a newspaper in front of a fireplace. I said: "Hello?" through the crack.
